Classes:

We have a series of classes available to help educate lupus patients and their family and friends.

Lupus Basics:
This class is designed to introduce lupus to newly diagnosed patients, their families, and their support systems. Patients will familiarize themselves with the definitions, terminologies, and support services available. Lupus 101 is also an opportunity for "veteran" patients to come out, share their experiences, and build new friendships with fellow peers.

I Have Lupus, Now What?
This is a follow-up class to the introductory Lupus Basics Class. This class focuses on patients' challenges and suggests ways that they and their support systems (including their work environments) can make changes and adjustments to assist the patients with their various needs. An Occupational Therapist and Dietician will be available to offer advice and insight.

Organization in Chaos
Whenever a chronic illness has touched your life or that of someone you love, chaos seems to reign. A local financial institution will offer sound advice and direction in finance, insurance, and basic organization to help focus your life planning.
It doesn't matter where you bank, who carries your insurance policies, etc. Getting your life organized is what matters.

If you need private/individual support, we would be happy to meet with you or your group separately to accomodate your needs.

Lupus (Support Groups):  Get-Together/Activity/One-on-One
If it's difficult to come to something called a "support group", let's change it up a bit and do what we must to meet you where you're at.

Give us a call or send us an email, use FaceBook or do what you must to start building a relationship with us.  You are not alone.  We will do what we can for you, have physical groups, virtual groups, one-on-one meetings, phone conversations, emails, come to our activities, volunteer, there are many ways you can become and stay involved.  You don't even have to have lupus.  You can KNOW someone with lupus, or just care.  We are here to support you and your loved ones in any way we can.

There is never one way to do something when it comes to caring for someone and their needs.  meeeting them where they are at is what we do.  Welcome to our `ohana.
